Atlanta Voices

We have an exciting 2025-26 season!

We kick off the season this fall with two performances, both FREE and open to the public.

On Friday, October 3 at 7pm, we will be featured a performing choir at the Georgia ACDA Conference held at Kennesaw State University. See GA-ACDA website for more details! https://www.gaacda.org/state-conference

On Monday, November 3rd at 6:15 pm, we will be singing the choral prelude for the Annual Requiem Service for the Homeless at the Cathedral of St Philip in Midtown. Join us in reaching out to the unhoused through music.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Atlanta Voices is to promote the music of under-represented peoples.

Our two-fold goal is to advocate for underrepresented composers and performers. First, we present compositions by musicians of color and all gender identities, ones often neglected in the historically celebrated canon of choral music. Second, we strive to represent those same communities among our performing members.

Together, work to provide a space for marginalized musicians to lift their voices and create powerful musical experiences that resonate with every listener. To create beauty through inclusivity.

Meet the director

Verena Lucía Anders had a vision for a choral ensemble rooted in Atlanta’s talent and heart. A Latina immigrant, Verena sought to promote the music of under-recognized choral composers. To read more about her click the bio link below!
